  • 5 star reviewIgnore the negative comments. We now live in Nottingham and stock up every time we're back in Suffolk. Good price, tasty food - we're even recommending them to the caterer's for our wedding. You won't be losing out if you go here...

  • 1 star reviewI have been a fortnightly customer since 2005. In the past few months however, I find that the chicken breasts release a lot of water while cooking. The flavour is different and texture feels different while handling. Could they be adding a water retaining additive to increase the weight?

  • 5 star reviewI have been to Swiss Farm numerous times. I can honestly say I have never had any bad experiences, all meat purchased has been lovely and staff are all so friendly. Even if I live a good 25minute drive away its worth it!

  • 1 star reviewOrdered largest Turkey CROWN for Xmas 2012 Went to collect and was presented with 20lb whole Turkey. I queried this, he apologised and was told they would crown it for me, of which they supposed to have done My understanding of a crown was the breast meat left on the breast bone for easy carving. (like all the crowns I've had before from other butchers) Christmas morning went to cook the bird to discover all they did was to remove the legs leaving it on the smelly carcass. Telephoned them as soon as they reopened after Christmas they said I should have told them to take it off the bone and have it rolled. So basically Tough !! So why when I placed the order was I not advised that what I wanted - I would not get ! Just one other thing, we had just moved to the area and was recommended to Swiss Farm but NEVER AGAIN WHAT A WASTE OF £50

  • 5 star reviewI have visited Swiss Farm many times and have always found the meat good value for money and of high quality. The steak is always tender and the chicken breasts are huge. I have never had anything bad.

  • 5 star reviewI have visited Swiss Farm many times over the last years and their meat is fantastic and the prices are even better. The steak is the best I have tasted and we have tried the ribs, marinated chicken (all flavours), plain chicken, sausages and burgers. Everything is huge and I don't have a single complaint. My parents came to visit and we took them to Swiss Farm and they bought about £100 of meat. They are now moving to Suffolk (about 5 miles from the butchers) and they said they will be buying all their meat there in future.

  • 4 star reviewI personally did not see any flies just a lot of people buying the products - we purchased various items and were very pleased with the good value but I would like to know if it's all British produce

  • 1 star reviewvisited here today, avoid! all products looked good and were fairly priced...however the place was crawling with flies and not one attempt to discourage them from sitting on the meat for large periods of time! I started by looking at the whole chickens...a fly crawling all over numerous ones, whilst the worker was selling one to a lady...she chose the one the fly was on.lovely. i then looked at the beef burgers...another fly, oh and by now one is happily sitting on the back of my hand, which i obviously bat away in disgust, like you would expect others to do. suasages next, at least 3 flies this time. marinated chicken breasts, flies having the time of their lives, sampling all the flavours of rosemary, sweet and sour etc. oh and 1 prominant fly on the counter, which appeared to be working there and serving customers, marching up and down from one end to the other. needless to say we left empty handed and sickened, my partner then noticed a fly on my t shirt as i came out. i am shocked that they were allowed to crawl over everything, i don't know how else to describe this clear disregard for hygeine, other than disgusting.
