• Fantastic real pub with excellent food and a great friendly atmosphere. It was our first visit and we will be back. As a Welshman I was proud to be able to show my Aussie son in law good Welsh hospitality and a real Welsh friendly welcome . A memorable, for all the right reasons, family lunch. Many thanks to John and Anne for their hospitality.

• Lovely atmosphere, super food, very friendly staff. Will certainly be visiting again soon. I understand the new landlord has been in residence a year - he runs an lovely pub.

• rubbish, not worth the petrol it took to get there , food cold and meat nuked to oblivion,rubbery and bland, desert was canned fruit salad posing as "sherry trifle"and the pub lacks any form of atmospheric warmth definatly not the pub it used to be, and overpriced at £13 50 per head for a bad lunch
