• Having enjoyed many meals at this pub I can honestly say I have never found the staff or managers to be rude. Infact they have been very helpful,keep up the good work,the food is lovely,atmosphere is great,thanks.

• My daughter and I attended this Pub today, along with her little boy. What a horrible afternoon. The receptionist came to take order and I stated what I would like from the menu indicating to the light bites. When our meals arrived they were very large and I asked the waitress whether they were light bites. She stated I did not ask for light bites and it was a main meal. I told her that it was a light bite that we wanted. She got very shirty and said I will get the Manager. The Manager came along and was so rude. He said we had ordered main meals to which I replied I had not and had indicated it was light bites. He told me it was too late and that I would have to pay for the meals. After being a little more insistent he threw his hands in the air like a spoilt child and said "well eat what you can and I will change the bill to the light bite price. This actually put me off eating my meal, as he was so arrogant and rude, it had also arrived with half rice and half chips despite the fact I had told the waitress, rice to which she repeated "just rice." As my daughter did not want to waste the food after causing a 'fuss' she ate it all. When the receptionist came to take my plate away I told her "just for the record I ordered just rice and you brought me half and half. I had left my meal and she just repeated "Well you should have said in the beginning." When I came to pay the bill the Manager had looked at what my daughter had eaten and basically charged us the full price for her meal despite stating he would take the charge off. The place was very quiet on a very hot sunny day, when years ago it was packed out in the beer garden. A sign of the times or a sign of the welcome received at this place???? I wasn't prepared to argue with such an arrogant man and penny pinching is not my style, I am not surprised it is there's, every penny counts when your losing business. Food overpriced for what it is, plus you have to pay extra for the play area which is not air conditioned, and hardly ever open, and the waitress ended up ignoring the little one despite him talking to her, very mature!! Would definitely NOT recommend this place!!!!!!!!!If I could put no star I would.
