• total disaster. Tiles not grouted properly, plaster board now falling off, wet carpet, books destroyed due to water leaking. have to get the work redone. a big mess - judging by comments on social media he does this a lot of the time - trading standards need to know. if i could give him -1 star i would

• Paid for professionals but got bad DIY and his kids doing majority of work. House left a wreck and in danger. Refused to give money back. Had to employ another tradesman to go over and correct most of his work.

• If you want cheap - he's your man. One of the lights is already on the blink. He did not seal the hole that takes the waste water outside of the house. He moaned about my choice of real slate tiles and said he could get me look a like tiles for £10 a box. Why, I have to ask, would I want look a like when I have the real thing? He did not finish grouting properly but on the whole he did a good enough job for the money. He and his team left a lot of mess too which I am still cleaning up. He said he had sealed my floor tiles, but he had not, I know this as there was a big muddy footprint left under the bath. Not very impressed. Won't use him again.

• His prices are cheap in comparison to other plumbers we had quotes from. Out of six lights installed in the bathroom one is now not working only weeks after completion. Had to call him back to grout tiles he had missed. He was unhappy with my choice of natural slate for the floor and tried to pursuade me to buy "lookalike tiles " at ten quid a box. Why would I want lookalike when I have the real thing? Never sealed the floor tiles. I have to do that myself now. Left a mess and trapsed plaster through the walking areas. Outfall pipe to drain has not been sealed around the brickwork. Pleasant enough man but not overlyIimpressed with his work. If you want cheap he's your man but not if you want attention to detail.
