• I tried entering this pub tonight with my husband and another couple. There were 5 people in total in the bar and it was only 8pm! My husband said good evening all! All customers replied good evening! We were then told by the landlady I think you should leave.. She was very rude to us for no reason what so ever! I asked her why and she said she thought we had had enough to drink! We came out at 7pm and had had two drinks in a previous pub!!! I told her we had only had two drinks! Her reply was two too many by the looks of it!! I asked her were only rude people allowed in her pub and told her she was the rudest person I had ever met! She told me to go and look in a mirror to which I replied I have I'm lovely buy you need to have a shave!! (She has a beard that would put any man to shame!!! I know this was wrong off but to refuse to let some one into a pub for saying good evening all is rediculous!!! Defo not the type of person to be running a pub! I am 37 and my husband is 36 we are definitely not troublesome teenagers!!!

• I tried to enter this pub on Saturday night with my 6 friends for a drink to celebrate my friend having a baby. On entering the pub we were all glared out like we were something from out of space. Without us saying a word, we were told 'No Thank You' from the Landlady. When asked what did this mean we were asked to leave. The pub had not a handful of people in there and I couldnt see why we would cause a problem. The Landlady again said 'No Thank You' I wondered if she knew any other words or if it were just men she would 'allow' into her pub! After growing up in the area I am keen to support all local businesses however I would not recommend this pub to anyone who has any sort of personality as you wont be welcome!
