• We popped in to this Inn for lunch on Saturday 5th May. We were very disappointed. The service was incredibly slow (it took 3 hours to get through a 2 course meal!). My husband ordered a burger with blue cheese but there was no blue cheese present (despite enquiring about this, the waiter never returned to explain it!); I ordered dressed crab which was utterly tasteless and full of crab shell; and our daughter ordered a medium to well done steak which was almost inedible it was so badly incinerated! One dessert of sticky toffee pudding took nearly 30 minutes to arrive. When asked if we had enjoyed our meal, we did comment to the waitress who was rather surly and returned some minutes later to say that 'the chef says he's very sorry' but no discount offered nor free coffee which would have been a more appropriate gesture. We wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for food.
