• Extremely poor experience I received in Vision Express in Hitchin yesterday. I was attending to receive an eye test and contact lens check. The Hitchin branch of Vision Express attempted to force me to wear a face mask against my will. They did not even ask me about any medical conditions which preclude me from wearing a face mask, demonstrating that they couldn’t have cared less about my welfare. The atmosphere was cold, clinical and unpleasant from the very first moment I entered the store. There was no friendliness and customer service skills were not just lacking, they were zero. I have to say that I was relieved to refuse to wear a facemask and leave.
