  • 1 star reviewWhat a let down. Someone seriously needs to go in and check the place out.

  • 3 star reviewWas a little tentative about going into the Wheatsheaf today for lunch after reading the previous reviews as some people are rather critical. But some of the reviews were correct. The mobility scooters out the front of the establishment looked like it was an old people's place! We entered anyway and were quite pleased with what we saw. One complaint would be the people sat round a round table that were quite loud and at times rude. The food was better than we had expected though.

  • 3 star reviewJust been for lunch. Once we'd got past all the old people mobiles and smokers it was rather nice.

  • 1 star reviewGive this place a swerve!!! Intimidating locals and ping food.

  • 1 star reviewStay clear of this establishment! I took my mother in there for lunch and there was an obviously drugged up young woman annoying the locals. They even spoke to my mother and I to tell us how downhill it has become.

  • 3 star reviewAfter hearing about the newly taken over Wheatsheaf,my partner and I decided to go for lunch. As soon as we arrived we noticed the glass in the entrance had been shattered which made us a little uneasy as we thought it had been improved and the old rough locals were frequenting other establishments. The ciggerette butts on the ground could have been disposed of but that's down to the lazy smokers who can't be bothered to dispose of them correctly. The food was well worth the money.

  • 3 star reviewHad a lovely lunch at the newly furbed Wheatsheaf. Have kept clear of the establishment since the last manager took it over and spent more time outside smoking with the locals than actually doing her job. Great food.

  • 1 star reviewWent to eat with the family Saturday evening. Didn't appreciate the ciggerette smokers standing by the entrance as smoke kept entering the premises where young children and adults eating. Language of the locals quite tastefull. On a positive note the food was nice and well worth the money.

  • 2 star reviewReally nice decor. Felt intimidated when sat at a table and got looks from the locals. Food was reasonable for the money.Just need to get a better quality of clientele. Was lively to swe a local family eatery but disturbed to see a young child in there after 9pm.

  • 1 star reviewWe also had dinner at wheatsheaf , while food was good and seems like a nice pub I'm afraid we could not recommend it to friends as mens toilets are a disgrace . And so I'm afraid we will not return.

  • 4 star reviewWe disagree with these comments, on a recent trip to Bognor we went to the wheatsheaf for dinner and found the staff and manager very helpfull, he and the barmaid made us feel very welcome and would return when next in area, and have recommended pub to friends, I'm my opinion a must visit in Bognor
