• Wye Fruit have been selling varieties of apple at my local Tesco store this season. I have found all the kinds of apples from Wye Fruit to be of the best quality (Dicovery, EgremontRussett, CoxOrangePippin, RedPippin). Their Spartan apples are a world away from every other Spartan I have eaten in my 52 years thus far. This apple is smaller than other Spartan's. Its scent beautifully pronounced; its flesh, as crisp as a Spartan can get. What really marks this apple out though, is its sweetness. This quality is richly expressed balancing the Spartan apples characteristic bitterness perfectly. BravoBavissimo Wye Fruit !
