• Went here yesterday to meet friends. Absolutely dreadful! The fish in so-say beer batter was so greasy I had to mop it off with a serviette, and the 'cod' was grey. Why oh why did they get rid of Tubbies? There is hardly anyone in there now, and we certainly won't be sitting down for a meal in the future. Very expensive for a Garden Centre too. When I complained about the fish, which incidentially cost £8 - yes £8 for fish chips and peas, the chef asked me what I wanted him to do about it!! Needless to say, I didn't ask for a refund, (this SHOULD have been offered to me)just won't be going there in future. Have given it 1 star for the custard slice we had after our 'meal' with a coffee.

• Nothing like the old Tubby's. Rubbish breakfast using cheap ingredients. No wonder all the old customers have voted with their feet!

• Very disappointed to see that Tubbies have left Wyevale, Nailsworth. Four of us used to meet up here, now and again, just for a meal and a catch up, but, oh dear, what a disappointment awaited us today. Very poor choice of menu and extremely expensive - £2.79 for a cup of coffee!! Will be finding a pub for our next rendez-vous. Will give it 2 stars, just for the new chairs and tables.
