• Extremely poor level of customer service. Couldn't even manage to order the correct car for me. (and it was for my birthday too!!) I agree with other reviews, no communication within the team. I was also wrongly advised with regards to finance procedures. These people are poorly trained, don't communicate well and most definitely have no understanding of customer service. For anyone thinking of spending a substantial amount of money as I was on a car I would say go elsewhere. Can't comment on the aftercare, didn't get that far. On the whole a catalogue of errors, which they admitted to making. Pardon the pun but 'steer well clear'!! .

• Would definitely NOT recommend buying from this dealer! Bought a car from here 1 month ago. When they were showing me around the car, they tried out the bluetooth with my phone. It would connect and then immediately disconnect. The seller told me it was a fault on my phone but if I had problems setting it up with other phones then bring it back. 1 month later I am still trying to sort it. They don't follow up on calls, they fail to communicate and say they booked my car in to be fixed and when I arrive they say its not booked in!! I've been backwards and forwards many times and each time they fob me off. Do not buy from here... they sell you faulty cars and as soon as they have your money there is no after care!!

• Bought a second hand car and had it delivered. Before it came I asked them to email me that if there were any scratches or dents etc on the vehicle when it arrives that they will sort it. They sent the email saying they would. When the car arrived it had some scratches and a chip. They said they wouldn't fix it. Great service until they get your money. Buyer Beware!!!!!

• Not going to lie, sales team are amazing got such a great deal on my car, although aftercare is very very shady. Want something doing under warranty? They'll make it look like a non warranty issue so that they can make some money! Would advise not to get your service or repair work done there. Body shop is great though!

• Beware of this garage. They will wriggle out of any warranty work if at all possible, it is always the fault of the customer.Took that on the chin but when trying to buy a new car, the salesmen were dishonest and did not communicate whatsoever.Not to mention rude. This was before they took my money, needless to say it will be goodbye Hylton Renault for me. Would give it no stars if I could!

• Do not trust the service department. Rang up and was quoted £155 for a full service at 18,000 miles. When I arrived at the garage they had not got the car booked in, however did manage to get the car in. Got a call to say car was ready but needeed 2 new tyres and was quoted £390 told them I would get them done elsewhere.(have had the tyres fitted and wheel alignment for £280). When collecting the car was given a bill for £220 and was told that this was due to the warranty items that were required to be done as part of the service. I refused and only paid £155 as quoted. Beware using this garage as it looks like they are not being honest upfront and their tyre charges are very excessive.
