• 2 MONTHS AND CAR HAS HAD NEW TURBO NEW DUAL MASS FLYWHEEL CLUTCH FUEL FILTERS AND BRAKES ALL ROUND, TOOK IT TO THERE GARAGE AND APPARENTLY NOTHING WRONG, EVENTUALLY TOOK IT TO VW AND SHOWED ME ACTUAL PARTS AND HOW THEY WERE NOT WORKING PROPERLY. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GARAGE, NICE ON THE SURFACE BUT AS SOON AS IT GOES WRONG THEN NO RESPONSE. LOVE THE CAR BUT THATS A CREDIT TO VW NOT THIS GARAGE,

• I purchased a VW Golf from VW Direct, when it came to buying the car they seemed friendly enough. However, the air-conditioning is non-functioning. VW direct advised me that they are not liable to fix the fault despite it being present when I purchased the car! As a so called gesture of 'good-will' they offered to sell me an air-con compressor for £200 (to fit at my cost). VW direct are fine, until you have any issues with your car, when they don't return your calls, and they don't abide by the Sale of Goods Act! AVOID - you might as well buy privately

• Recently bought a VW golf mk6 from VW Direct and received fantastic service. VW direct has a real family feel and really catered to my needs. All the cars there are of high quality ... go and see for yourself , you wont be disappointed!

• Extremely helpful and insightful. Purchased a Seat Ibiza and unfortunately had a engine management light come on within a few weeks. The guys instructed me to go to my local garage and get it diagnosed. Within minutes of reporting the fault to the guys they had authorisation for the work to be carried out at their cost. Very impressed with the stock, service and professionalism. Will buy again in the future.

• Very friendly until things go wrong. Then they don't reply to emails and fob you off when you call. The car I bought is good enough but was missing one key and a handbook when I picked it up. They originally told me that the car had two keys and a handbook. Get this in writing before buying a car from them. Their warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on but consumer law is much more useful if you get a problem up to 6 months from purchase. I say again, write everything down that you should get with the car and get them to sign it.

• After 1 week of owning the car something major broke, I was sent to an awful garage where they never repaired the problem and had to go to another garage. The tow bar that was taken off before I collected the car was taken off with no care and only now is causing more problems. Tjey do not answer emails or reply.
