• Beleived all the sales patter from eddie the rat. Bought a car from him and had nothing but problems. The back door broke and the half wit took it back and said it was fixed. Aye his monkeys glued it back on. The guy is a sleaze merchant AVOiD at all costs!!!!! Window motors - broken Rear door mechanism - broken Sunroof -broken Both rear door opening mechanisms - broken Stereo - broken Ariel was glued on and is now in the boot The guys a rocket

• bought my wifes fiesta from eddie and too it straight to a ford specialist who advised the car was in exceptional condition for age. very happy

• Great feeling the minute we arrived at elite cars. After a coffe and checking all the paperwork Eddie took us on a 15 mile test drive, the car was Fine. Paid a small deposit and picked to car up 3 days later. Great service, thanks guys

• Wish I had read these reviews before I shelled out £4000 on a shogun from this garage.within a week the car was back in due to a problem with the brakes,turned out the two front discs were warped.they replaced the discs but knackered the abs ring.now getting intermittent flashes of the abs warning light,since then a rear caliper has seized,the oil cooler is leaking,a c.v joint is leaking and only a few days ago it broke down on me on the first day of a family holiday.been advised it requires a new engine but at £3000 there's no way I can justify spending that sort of money,so it looks like it will be scrapped.avoid this so called garage at all costs.

• Delt with a lovely chap called Fraser. Initial queries via email were all answered and accomodated, even arranged same day drive away with purchase (Lexus IS200). Car bought is in superb condition and drive is sublime. Would happily deal with again.

• I bought an X5 from this garage, and have had no problems at all. I had the car inspected at a BMW specialist shortly after i bought it, and it came back with a clean bill of health. Reading the other reviews it seems other people have had problems, but all I can say is I bought a good car at a great price. Would I buy again from this garage ? Yes.

• I bought my car from here a few months ago and have had nothing but trouble. It comes with a warranty, but it's useless. Doesn't cover all the things that actually go wrong with it. The salesmen are all charm and smile but are just out to get your money. The 'mechanics' (if they can call themselves that) are useless. They know nothing about cars and DO NOT TRUST what they say about the vehicle's roadworthiness. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

• i bought a van from this garage two weeks ago and since then it has cost me over £550.00 in repairs , it's spent more time in the garage being repaired than on the road , fair wear and tear is one thing but tis is taking the mic,i have one thing to say , don't touch this place with a barge poll ,

• Bought car in April 2013, 6 months warranty, i have a few issues with the car and have tried phoning and emails to elite but no-one has responded to my calls. will not buy another from this garage and i have informed my family, friends and work mates not to go near this garage. Promises everything which is a nothing. go elsewhere to buy. Have been told to go to trading standards

• bought my freelander and my wifes x5 from Eddie at elite, no problems whatsoever with our two cars which are both over 5 years old, decent warranty cover provided at a reasonable price, cant complain

• Promises a full checkup of the car prior to handing over of car - however mine had absolutely no oil and petrol only for 500 yards. Also promises a warranty, but what it actually covers is written on the piece of paper he gives you - in my case only engine faults. Service is poor, don't believe Eddie's assurances and avoid this car dealer at all costs. I would not buy there again.

• Do not use this garage !!!! I stupidly traded my vehicle in for a death trap , on driving out the garage the odometer light went out and two of the tyres deflated which took a week to get fixed ! It is is now into its 4th day of being repaired for a faulty catalytic converter ( 2 hr job apparantel)

• I recently purchased my vw golf from elite cars. When i went to the garage to view the car i was surprised at how friendly and helpful the staff were, there was a small issue with my car as o e of my windows kept sticking but the guys in the garage were great. They collected the car at 10am from my work and delivered it back at 1430. No charge. No hassle. Great service

• Whatever you do, do NOT buy a car from this garage! This is almost the perfect cliche for a dodgy second-hand garage. All sweetness and smiles, clean cars, the pep talk about how 'only want to make sure people have a good vehicle' - 'I'll go home happy at the end of the day...' - all that nonsense. The cars are clean on the inside and out, but are far from mechanically-sound. If you're offered a test drive it'll be a short mile around the block. Not good enough. Ask to take it out for a proper half hour drive. If you really have found a car you like at a price that seems okay then I urge you to go for an independent AA or RAC inspection as these guys do NOT know their stuff. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY

• When I was buying my car I looked for reviews on this garage. Sadly, there were none and so I went ahead with my purchase. I deeply regretted it. Awful customer service, both management and mechanics have very poor mechanical knowledge. They're full of excuses when things go wrong, but unable to actually resolve them (unless it's for a hefty fee). AVOID - AVOID - AVOID - AVOID

• Pathetic garage, poor customer service and 'mechanics' don't have a clue what they are doing. Steer well clear of them.

• this car dealer sold me a car that lasted only 4 moths before the head gasket went. (i only used the car for work and only done about 10 mile a day to work and back 5 miles each way) they also sold it with a warranty that did not cover the repair basically do not buy from this dealer or you could end up with a lemon
