• Brought a Chevrolet through Hidsons, Biggest mistake I've done, Chevrolet left the country and now to get any warranty work done if the car goes wrong is such hard work and hours being patronised on the phone. Nither care, Hidsons tell you we can only do as Chevrolet say and Chevrolet say you need to speak to Hidsins as they are the Chevrolet Dealer. Not happy will never buy through Hidsons, Very rude, patronising and eager to blame anyone else.

• I purchased my Corsa in June 2013 with only 7 miles on the clock. After having it cleaned, a small piece of paint came off the front bumber. I took it in and was told it could be done under warranty,it was all booked in and two days prior to taking it in, was told I would have to pay as they could not cover it under Warranty. Two weeks ago I took my car in with a crack coming up from under the seal, checking the internet it is a known fault, so I was told I needed to book it in as work needed to be carried out under warranty as there was NO signs of inpact from stones,etc,etc. Just after my car was left in the hands once again with this garage,I get a call and photos to tell me that they now have discovered a very small chip and the windscreen would not be covered under warranty. But they was the ones like four others including myself prior to that day of having not seen any chip. Plus the chip is only within one inch up from the bottom, under the wiper arm and edge of the bonnet. At the time I was 18 and only had just passed my test, this is my first car, and I am paying everything myself. The sales staff at Vauxhalls where very helpfull, but myself holding a management roll in one of the countries leading retailers. I have learnt what customer service customer would like to expect on a daily bases. I would not trust the service department side of the company with my car in anyway in the future years of ownership, and my next purchase of a new vehicle will not be with Hidsons. Sorry sales team.

• Ref Parts distributors at the 110 High street branch. Would not touch them with a barge pole ever again after buying from for years.Customer service rubbish after being sent to the dealership to deal with a faulty part and an abrupt sales person trying to fob me off.Eventually the manager steps in and agrees common sense and still never bothered to give me a refund on the part.Considering trading standards as parts are warranted for a year and customer service should be first.Sales team in the parts place disgusted by it and cant understand how car sale people get involved in items they have no knowledge or experience about.Will bring this up with trading standards.
