• usually a very good meal here but this time had a hair in the prawn cocktail made me feel ill so couldn't eat main course, when I mentioned it the waitress shrugged her shoulders and said the hair could have come from anywhere!! it was a long hair I have short and it was mixed in with the food. They begrudgiingly knocked us some money off the bill, About £1.50!!! All in all a very bad experience

• come here on a lot of occasions, the liver and sausage is to die for. excellent food at any time highly reckomend this wonderful place.

• We visited the pub on Sunday 27th November 2011 for a family birthday. The meal was wonderful this pub is well worth a visit.

• Sat 2nd July 2011 - had deep fried Brie with cranberry sauce to start, very tasty although not as good as Ember Inns almond crumbed brie (which costs around �3 less!) Friend had devilled mushrooms with tomato - huge portion, said it was very tasty.Main courses haddock
