• It has been nearly two years since we last visited the New Inn following the retirement of the original couple. Today we went back following recommendations that the new people were doing good food. Well done lads food was really good back to a traditional country village pub. Will be going back soon. Hope they get back all their customers.

• This pub is fantastic . Food brilliant. Hospitality friendly , welcoming. The family which have taken this pub on in these times need a medal. They have worked hard to make a success with the pub particularly in the location of a village which is not close to busy main roads. Yes they had two labadors the older one died which affected the young one badly but the dogs never had the run if the place only when the pub was nearly empty. People should look at the bigger picture first is there genuinely necessary, how damaging will it be to the pub, do you want it to close. I definitely recommend it, and very eorthy of a visit.

• The owners many dogs have free run of the downstairs, including the bar, kitchen and dining area. Personally I do not want to be sniffed by dogs whilst eating my meal, maybe I'm just fussy.

• Visited two nights running as food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Friendly landlord and very attentive staff.
