• We came here for my grans 90th birthday. The pub was very accommodating to our every need. Food was great. So was the atmosphere. The manager took time to chat with us and even gave my gran a free meal as a birthday gift. Not a single complaint all night.

• My daughter and I visited on 17th January. ordered smothered chicken(picture on menu oozing with melted cheese) arrived with small amount grated cheese on top.sent back got some melted cheese over the grated cheese.asked if it was a new chef, it was the usual one. as we always eat there we were very disappointed with standard of meal nothing like usual pub was quiet so no excuse. another customer sent 2 steaks back and asked for refund. emailed manager but got no reply. Such a shame because we usually had nothing but praise for food, but dont think we will be going back now.
